Craig Newmark of Craigslist Profile, Part One

This is part one of a two part profile of Craigslist founder Craig Newmark.

In Part One, we look at the evolution and future of one of the world's most popular web sites, starting as an e-mail events list, and now one of the most important destinations for anyone buying, selling, renting, or hiring.

Next week, we'll look at Craig's efforts to promote moderation and how Craigslist could help bring peace to the Middle East.

Craig Newmark Raw Interview

This is my complete (mostly) unedited interview with Craig Newmark, founder of Craigslist, for KRON 4's Bay Area Web - The Next Generation.

Even running one of the world's most popular web sites doesn't make you immune from hay fever, so the few edits, particularly in the first part, are to cut out some sneezing.

Overall, Craig was very impressive, not just for his vision and his opinions, but for his wry sense of humor. Check it out and leave comments.
